With a new model on the horizon, now is a great time to look into the ever-present Nissan GT-R R35. The R35 has made a great effort to preserve the Skyline heritage and fill the gap left by the R34 Skyline predecessor. After a one-year absence from the North American market, the top brass at Nissan decided to facelift Godzilla once again.

The Nismo package, which is motorsport-inspired, features Apple CarPlay software and Bose surround speakers. Customers also get a lighter package that includes carbon fiber panels such as the roof. Brembo also supplied a set carbon ceramic brakes to increase the vehicle’s torsional rigidity. Unfortunately, the GT-R Nismo comes at a vastly inflated price over the premium package.

2 Upcoming 2024 Nissan R35 GT-R
Nissan will be releasing a fresh face for the dated R35 GT-R. A new front and rear fascia will be added to the iconic silhouette for 2024 models. The performance figures are unchanged, but the Nismo will get a new front limited slip differential to enhance its handling capabilities.
Nissan will bring back the T-Spec model, sporting the retro Millennium Jade/Midnight Purple color schemes that were featured on the legendary Nissan Skyline R34 V-spec models. The Nismo appearance package adds extra flair to the Nismo. However, the wing and the revised fascia may improve downforce on paper, the drag coefficient remains the same at 0.26.
